Yosi's Story

Yose was born and lived  in Valencia (Venezuela) until she was 16 years old. She moved to La Spezia (Italy) where she finished high school and later on moved to Parma (Italy) where she spent her "crazy" university years. In May 2009 she drove all the way to Geneva (Switzerland)  and spent 5 years there. It took some years and some Kilometers, but it was worth it :)

There she found her life companion :)

Chrigi's Story

Chrigi was born in Pieterlen close to Biel in Switzerland but then move around Bern for a bit, finally settling down in Ostermundigen where he spent his school and teenage years. After finishing his University degree he decided to move to Geneva.

There he found his life companion :)

Life Together

When Yose and Chris both moved to Geneva in 2009 and started their PhD within 2 months of each other in the same department with labs across the corridor, it did not take too long for them to recognize each other. Chrigi actually claims that he still remembers what Yose was wearing at his third day there. It still took him more than a year to finally ask her out (thank you Alba and Jessica!). Things got pretty clear soon after and they have been together ever since November 9th 2010. Together they spent 4 crazy eventful years in Geneva with meeting great new friends, nieces and nephews being born and thus becoming God parents. After Geneva they both found jobs in Basel and have been living there since 2014.

In December 2016 Chrgi asked Yosi to become his wife on the top of Gornergrat above Zermatt and are now happy to celebrate their wedding with you and continue our journey together.
